Events Guide

This is a guide for all the events and how to beat them

Event 1

Defeat Bowser and DeDeDe, playing as Mario. Easy stuff.

Event 2

A perpetually Final-Smashing Fox must use the Landmaster tank to beat Sheik and Metaknight.

Event 3

Beat Kirby before the Halberd ship lands. You have a certain amount of time to complete, and play as Metaknight.

Event 4

Use Pit to destroy all the platforms. Wario is your enemy, but he can help by damaging the structures as well.

Event 5

An all-Poke battle with two trainers. You both have three lives.

Event 6

Run through the Mushroomy Kingdom as Bowser while three Mario jerks try to get there first. Best to stick to the high ground.

Event 7

Donkey Kong vs a team of tiny Diddy Kongs. Watch out for the karts!

Event 8

More Pokemon-themed fighting, now as Pikachu against the Trainer.

Event 9

Ike against Diddys and then a giant Donkey Kong. By the time Kong shows up, you might be worn out – be careful!

Event 10

Battle against the classic roster of brawlers. Choose your character and fight Mario, Samus, Link etc.

Event 11

You have to fight a team of Yoshis, but the trick is to knock them off in the order they come out. First one on the screen is the first you have to KO, etc.

Event 12

Use Yoshi’s tongue attack to put Kirby and Pikachu in eggs at the same time.

Event 13

Gather all three pieces to triple-KO the Wario team.

Event 14

We think this is about damage dealt with Olimar. The goal is to make every Pikmin grow a flower. Near as we can tell, that’s accomplished by racking up hits. Hitting B pulls more Pikmin out of the ground too.

Event 15

It’s a team of DeDeDes against a giant metal DeDeDe on the Animal Crossing level. Pound away.

Event 16

Beat the other two Zero Suits to the Final Smash icon when it appears. You don’t have to beat them, just access and activate Zero Suit Samus’s Final Smash.

Event 17

Zelda against the Ice Climbers in a race to the top. Hard because even though Zelda can teleport straight up, she falls very slowly.

Event 18

A stamina battle with Shadow Link. You have a set amount of hit points and slowly whittle them away.

Event 19

Wario against Mario and Luigi in the classic Mario Bros. level. You have to use the 8-bit enemies to knock Mario and Luigi out for good. Great shout-out to the NES/arcade original.

Event 20

Choose your character (Sonic here) and fight Brawl’s eight newcomers

Event 21

Earthbound’s not big enough for these two; only one will survive!

Event 22

Diddy and Donkey against Lucario and Sheik in a race to the top. Everyone has two  lives, so you just have to knock ‘em out to win.

Event 23

You begin as Samus with 300% damage. One hit will probably do you in, so you have to avoid Fox and Falcon while the lava rises. When the lava wave comes, only one can fit inside a special capsule that appears. Stand in it to win.

Event 24

Use Captain Falcon’s Final Smash to beat two R.O.B.s before one lap is over.

Event 25

Lucario must fight many enemies as Dialga launches attacks on the stage. He’ll blast lasers, blow chunks of the level away and even slow time. Oh, that Dialga.

Event 26

Ness against tiny Olimar and Pikmin on the Animal Crossing stage. KK plays in the background.

Event 27

R.O.B. against Charizard, Donkey Kong and Bowser. Tiny robot up against three massive enemies!

Event 28

Use Peach to turn all the Electroplankton leaves red. At first we tought we had to arrange some kind of tune, but no, just get ‘em red. Olimar will affect the leaves so it’s best to get him out of the way.

Event 29

Choose a character and fight Falcon, Luigi, Ness and Jigglypuff on this Mario-themed level.

Event 30

One Sonic against a team of Sonics on Green Hill Zone.

Event 31

Marth must protect a helpless Zelda from two approaching Ganondorfs. You can beat them and win, or wait for Zelda to change to Sheik and have her help.

Event 32

A black Falco faces off against Mr. Game & Watch in a classic Smash Bros. level. You both have two lives. Watch out for the lava!

Event 33

Play the villain! As Ganondorf you must beat Link, Zelda and Pit with two lives.

Event 34

Choose your player and fight eight other characters: Bowser, Peach, Zelda, Ice Cllimbers, Mr. Game & Watch, Falco, Marth and Ganondorf.

Event 35

Battle on the Game & Watch! Beat Jigglypuff, Toon Link and Peach’s silhouettes while playing as Mr. Game & Watch. The unit’s graphics will actually affect the battle. Peach is bounced around quite a bit by ‘em.

Event 36

Snake against three other bounty hunters: Star Wolf, Samus and Captain Falcon.

Event 37

Hm. Now this one we’re not sure what happened. It’s Toon Link against two Yoshis, but other than knocking them around for a few minutes, we’re not sure what triggered the victory. Maybe that’s it?

Event 38

Showdown in deep space! Star Wolf must successfully fend off Fox and Falco.

Event 39

An ongoing brawl against the game’s hidden newcomers. Sonic, R.O.B. and the like.

Event 40

A final battle against the three main villains: Ganondorf, DeDeDe and Bowser.

Event 41

Beating all other Events unlocks number 41, a licensing nightmare that pits a character of your choosing against Snake, Sonic and giant Mario!
